Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdollahian and his Qatari counterpart Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in a phone conversation on Wednesday, discussed issues of bilateral importance and the latest regional developments as well, according to Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two foreign ministers have reportedly also had talks on negotiations underway in Vienna between Iran and five world power – known as P4+1.
Qatari media referred to friendly relations between Iran and Qatar, noting that Doha had proposed a plan earlier to bring views of Iran and the US closer together and help expand relations between Tehran and the Persian Gulf littoral countries.
