Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General sheikh Naim Qassem indicated that the Resistance Party is very enthusiastic about running for the upcoming parliamentary elections which allow the voters choose their representatives.
The representatives will, in turn, elect a president and identify the form of the new government, Sheikh Qassem said while addressing a Hezbollah ceremony on the occasion of Imam Ali (P) Birthday in Beirut.
Sheikh Qassem pointed out that Hezbollah is sure of the intention of its supporters to elect its candidates in order to cooperate in finding solutions for the socioeconomic problems.
His eminence warned against boycotting the vote, adding that this would diminish the electoral support to Hezbollah candidates and allow the opponents to gain a number of seats.
Sheikh Qassem also added that the non-governmental organizations have not helped in supporting the Lebanese people in any way, adding that they just show grudge and anonymity in face of Hezbollah which defeated ISIL and the Israeli enemy.
Sheikh Qassem also highlighted the treachery of the Bahraini regime which hosted the Israeli prime minister, noting that the criminal entity will never be able to protect or support its Arab allies.
