Islamic Jihad Secretary General, Ziyad Nakhala, hailed on Monday the regaining freedom operation carried out by six Palestinian prisoners who violated all the Israeli security measures and escaped through a tunnel earlier on the same day.

Nakhala stressed that Jenin Brigade achieved the victory of freedom on behalf of all the Palestinians and turned the occasion to be a day of joy, calling on all the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank to protect the six prisoners.

Six Palestinian prisoners managed early Monday to escape from the Israeli Gilboa prison, located in Beissan Valley, through a tunnel, they had dug, and moved into an unknown destination.
