Palestinian factions, movements, and activists called on Monday for protecting the six Palestinian prisoners who had broken out of a high-security Israeli prison earlier on the same day.

The activists underlined the importance of holding protest events at all the contact points in order to protect the Palestinian prisoners, calling for removing the surveillance cameras used by houses as well shops and delete the recorded footage.

The Palestinian activists also warned against circulating the photos of the six prisoners and publishing any piece of information about them.

Six Palestinian prisoners managed early Monday to escape from the Israeli Gilboa prison, located in Beissan Valley, through a tunnel, they had dug, and moved into an unknown destination.
