Amid the Zionist pressures to change the missions of the UNIFIL troops so that they comply with the Israeli interests, the enemy’s foreign ministry organized a tour for foreign diplomats along the Palestinian borders with Lebanon.
The foreign ambassadors and diplomats listened to explanations from the Israeli military commanders who aimed at provoking the international community against Hezbollah resistance ahead of the extension of the UNIFIL mandate, calling for empowering and expanding the missions of the international forces ‘without restrictions’ to secure the border of the entity.
“Effective fulfillment of the UNIFIL mandate is necessary in order to ensure regional stability and to prevent Hezbollah from gaining power in Southern Lebanon,” said Avivit Bar-Ilan, who heads the Foreign Ministry International Organizations Division. “We expect the UNSC members to adopt a decision that will grant UNIFIL the power to fulfill its duty without restrictions,” she added.
The commander of the Galilee Division in the Zionist Army Shlomi Binder instigated the diplomats against the Lebanese Resistance, saying that ‘Hezbollah army’ is deployed on Lebanon’s border to destabilize Israel’s security. “We work to strengthen our preparedness for any scenario and will continue to operate day and night to keep the citizens of Israel safe and protected,” he said.
