The Secretary General of the Islamic Unification Movement Sheikh Bilal Shaaban revealed during the Friday sermon that the US ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea has forbidden the political forces in the North from aiding the needy people in the area.
Sheikh Shaaban noted that Shea’s order comes in the context of the US pressures to tighten the noose on the Lebanese, calling on all the politicians to help the citizens during this socioeconomic crisis.
“Regardless of the foreign pressures, all the politicians must help the people during these hard conditions.”
