Jordanian government spokesman, Mohammad al-Momeni, said the relation between his country and Syria was heading towards positivity.
In an interview with the Jordanian state TV, al-Momeni said: “The relation with our brothers in Syria is heading in the right direction.”
“We remember when Arab League cut off relations with Syria, we urged to be excluded from this move, due to specialty in relation between us and Syria,” the Jordanian spokesman added, noting that diplomatic missions have not been closed in both Amman and Damascus.
Talking about ceasefire in Syria’s south al-Momeni said it was holding, adding that the move creates more stability in the coming period. In this context, the spokesman said that Amman attempts to consolidate the deal.
