A terrorist car bomb attack took place near the Municipal Stadium in Jableh city in Lattakia province on Thursday.
Chief of Lattakia Police Command Yasser al-Shariti told SANA reporter that the attack claimed the lives of a number of civilians and injured many others.
SANA reporter said three civilians were killed and 16 others were injured in the bombing.
Later,the agency noted that the toll rose to nine martyrs and 25 wounded.
On May 23rd, a series of terrorist bombings targeted the coastal cities of Tartous and Jableh, killing many citizens and injuring tens of others.
