Ten Palestinians have been martyred in Israeli army attacks across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, as new satellite imagery shows the construction of a large earthen barrier cutting through the enclave and deepening its territorial fragmentation.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said Tuesday that nine Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces and one died from injuries sustained in an earlier attack, bringing the death toll since October 2023 to 73,293.
Another 42 people were wounded in the latest attacks, raising the total number of injuries to 173,906.

The ministry warned that many victims remain trapped under rubble and along roads, with ambulance and civil defense teams unable to reach them due to ongoing Israeli military operations.
Miles-long Gaza Barrier
The latest casualties come as satellite images show the Israeli occupation military has been rapidly constructing a large earthen barrier along the so-called “Yellow Line,” the boundary from which Israeli forces withdrew under the October 2025 ceasefire agreement.
The barrier stretches for more than 23 kilometers through areas of Gaza where Palestinian communities have been demolished by occupation army, effectively separating large parts of the territory. The construction covers more than half the length of the Gaza Strip, which is around 40 kilometers long.

The Israeli military confirmed to The Associated Press that it had built a physical barrier in the area, while earlier acknowledging that it controls more than 60% of Gaza’s territory, exceeding the area it was permitted to temporarily hold under the ceasefire agreement.
Despite the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025, Israeli attacks have continued, killing 1,168 Palestinians and injuring 3,798 others since the truce began, according to figures by Gaza’s Health Ministry.
