Minister of Public Health, Hamad Hassan, confirmed the first coronavirus case in Lebanon, indicating that the infected patient is a 45-year-old woman who had arrived in Beirut airport coming from Iran.

Speaking at a press conference held at the ministry, Hassan said that there were two other suspected cases in the country.

The patient is now quarantined at the Rafik Hariri University Hospital, the Minister added.
