United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jan Kubis, on Wednesday met with the House Speaker Nabih Berri at his residence in Ain Al-Tineh, conveying to him a letter from the UNSG on the importance of forming a new government.

Kubis said via twitter, “Lebanon is truly unique — the BDL Governor is requesting extraordinary powers to at least somehow manage the economy while those responsible watch it collapsing. Incredible.”
