The Yemeni rocketry force launched Thursday morning an advanced long-range ballistic missile on a critical military target in Dammam, east of Saudi Arabia.
The spokesman of the armed forces, Brigadier General Yahia Sari, announced that this was a new and important experience for the Yemeni rocketry force.
“This comes in response to the crimes that the Saudi-led coalition commits, in seizing our country, and its impenitent aggression in shedding Yemenis’ blood,” he said.
The Yemeni army renewed the call for the civilians and foreign firms to “keep away of military bases, as they have become legitimate targets for us, and may be targeted at any moment as long as the Saudi-led coalition continue the siege on the Republic of Yemen”.
Details of the operation and the new missile will be revealed at a recent press conference.
The Saudi-led coalition has been attacking vital Yemeni infrastructures since 2015, leading to huge civilian causalities.
