Yemeni forces staged several drone attacks against Saudi airports of Abha and Jizan, the latest attacks targeting Saudi airports used to launch strikes against Yemeni civilians.
Yemeni armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that the Yemeni drones targeted military sites in the two airports, confirming that the two Saudi facilities were now out of service.
Saree reiterated a call previously made urging all civilians from different nationalities to keep away from Saudi airports used to launch airstrikes against Yemen.
Yemen’s Al-Massirah TV quoted aerial observation centers as saying that a plane which was heading from Riyadh to Jizan was forced to redirect its flight to Jeddah airport due to the attack.
“Our defense power makes us more capable to confront the Saudi-led aggression and to launch qualitative operations.”
