The Russian ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zaspkin stressed that the relation between his country and Hezbollah is strong, close and cooperative, adding that this serves the interests of the just cause.

Zaspikin also considered that the cooperation with Hezbollah is a good sample of cooperation with a patriotic party.

The Russian diplomat also said that it is clear that the Russian role in the Middle East is very positive.
