Dozens of trapped civilians fled eastern Aleppo after the Syrian army carried out an operation in a bid to secure a humanitarian corridor.
Al-Manar correspondent said 48 civilians including women and children were evacuated following a wide-scale operation by the Syrian forces who secured a humanitarian passage that links between Aleppo’s eastern and western neighborhoods.
The civilians were received at Bustan al-Qasr crossing, our corresponded said, adding that the Syrian authorities offered the families all forms of assistance and moved them into shelter centers.
Russian and Syrian aircraft have not flown near Aleppo for the past seven days in a humanitarian pause aimed at evacuating all the trapped civilians in Aleppo. However, Takfiri terrorists have been refusing to lay down arms and preventing civilians from getting out the ravaged city.
