President Michel Aoun Tuesday said U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision on Golan Heights marked “a black day for the world and an arbitrary decision that contradicts international legitimacy regarding state borders.

President Aoun held talks in Moscow with the speaker of the lower house of Russian parliament, ahead of his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin later in the day.

U.S. President Donald Trump Monday signed a proclamation that officially granted U.S. recognition of the Golan Heights as belonging to the Zionist occupation entity.
