Israeli occupation forces on Monday shot and killed two Palestinians and injured a third one northwest of Ramallah.
Occupation army claimed that the three Palestinians ran over Israeli troops in the occupied West Bank.
However, Palestinian sources stressed that the incident was a car accident which took place when the Palestinians were surprised by the IOF opening fire towards their car.
IOF opened fire at three Palestinians “neutralizing two of them and lightly injuring a third”, occupation army alleged, adding that an Israeli officer was severely injured and a Border Police soldier was lightly injured.
Kafr Nama’s mayor said that troops were leaving the village on foot after an operation to arrest a Palestinian suspect there when the incident occurred.
