The Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri called on Wednesday for postponing the Arab Economic Summit, scheduled to be held in Beirut on January 20, due to the ongoing governmental void in Lebanon.
During his regular meeting with the members of the parliament, Berri pointed out that the cabinet formation process is sharply deteriorating.
Prime minister-designate Saad Hariri was tasked to form the government on May 24; however, some political teams attempts to obtain shares larger than those they deserve has delayed the constitutional entitlement.
