A Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire in new protests along the Gaza border on Friday, the local health ministry said.
A spokesman for the ministry told AFP the man, whose identity was not yet known, was killed during protests east of Gaza City.
More than 100 other people were wounded, the spokesman said.
Media reports had mentioned that the Zionist occupation troops fired gas bombs at a number of Palestinian youths in northern Gaza Strip whose eastern border witnessed burning of tires in protest of the ongoing Israeli blockade.
The Return Protests are held by the Palestinians every Friday as a large number of young men head into the border area to protest against the Zionist measures and to highlight the Palestinian national rights.
In the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian youths headed into Khan Al-Ahmar village to support its locals against the Israeli decision to demolish it.
