Syrian army said on Wednesday it was reducing air strikes and shelling on Aleppo on Humanitarian grounds.
In a statement, the army’s general command said its decision on Wednesday to reduce air strikes and shelling came after it had succeeded in cutting off all entry roads into Aleppo used by Takfiri terrorists.
It said the decision had been taken to improve conditions for civilians, whom were being used as human shields, and to allow people who wanted to leave to get to safer areas.
Meanwhile, the general command said it was giving gunmen in Aleppo’s eastern neighborhoods an additional opportunity to benefit from amnesty decree and settle their status, or hand over their weapons and leave with their families.
“We call on all gunmen in the eastern neighborhoods not to wait for any assistance from any one as all supplying routes became cut off and there is no chance for them, but handing over their weapons,” the statement said according to SANA news agency.
On the other hand, the army’s command stressed that it has accurate information about the places of gunmen and their warehouses in Aleppo eastern neighborhoods, warning that anyone who doesn’t make use of such opportunity will have his unavoidable fate.
