Syrian Army in the country’s south have advanced along the Jordanian border, seizing a string of villages, and will soon reach the strategic Nassib border crossing.
Reuters news agency quoted a Syrian commander as saying that the Syrian Army and allies in Daraa province arrived at the frontier on Thursday and “within a short period of time, they will reach the crossing.”
For its part, Hezbollah’s War Media Center reported that the allied forces have taken control of most of towns in Daraa’s eastern countryside.
The center also reported that the allied forces are to take control of Nassib border crossing “within hours.”
