Iranian President Hasan Rouhani on Wednesday lashed out at Saudi policy in the region, stressing that the behaviors of its rulers indicate they are “immature”.
Addressing Iranian cabinet on Wednesday, Rouhani denounced the ongoing Saudi aggression on Yemen as saying: “Who calls himself ‘Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ continues committing crimes against Yemeni people without regret.”
Touching upon the current crisis in Lebanon, the Iranian president denounced the Saudi interference in Lebanon internal affairs.
“Blatant interference in a country like Lebanon and forcing its PM to resign is unprecedented,” Rouhani said, referring to the surprise resignation by Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri from Rriyadh.
Meanwhile, Rouhani lashed out at the Gulf Kingdom, saying: “It is shameful that a Muslim country asks Zionist entity to bomb Lebanese people,” referring to confirmed reports that Saudi asked Israeli enemy to launch aggression against Lebanon in a bid to wipe out Hezbollah resistance movement.
“This behavior indicates that people who rule this country (Saudi) are immature,” Rouhani said.
