The Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari said Saturday that ISIL terror, which has struck Iraq, may strike any country all over the world, warning that the takfiri group might carry out terrorist attacks in this context.
During a several-day visit to Russia, Al Jaafari met with the Arab ambassadors and the representatives of the foreign diplomatic missions in Moscow, stressing that Iraq has faced one of the most dangerous challenges represented by ISIL terrorist group and that all the Iraqis have decided to confront and defeat the takfiri militants.
The Iraqi top diplomat stressed that Iraqis themselves fought and overcame ISIL terrorists “who consequently vandalized the cities they had held.”
Al-Jaafari called on the international community to help the Iraqis reconstruct their cities due to the massive destruction caused by ISIL terrorists.
