Rocketry force in the Yemeni army and the popular committees fired at dawn on Tuesday “Qaher-2M” missile on Saudi army command center in the Saudi border town of Jizan.
Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah television network quoted a source in the Yemeni rocketry force as saying that the ballistic missile accurately hit its target, notin g it was launched following reconnaissance mission carried out in the area.
“According to information obtained by our intelligence, the missile hit its target, inflicting heavy losses upon Saudi-led forces in Samta in Jizan,” the source said.
The source meanwhile, stressed that the allied forces are in a state of high readiness in a bid to confront Saudi-led aggression.
Yemen has been since March 2015 under a brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition, in a bid to restore power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been injured and martyred in Saudi-led strikes, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
However, the allied forces of the army and popular committees established by Ansarullah revolutionaries have been heroically confronting the aggression with all means.
The Saudi-led coalition – which also includes UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan and Kuwait – has been also imposing a blockade on the impoverished country’s ports and airports as a part of the aggression.
