The loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc hailed the Lebanese President Michel Aoun’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, underscoring the meeting between the foreign minister Gebran Bassil and his Syrian counterpart Walid Al-Moallem.

In a statement read after its meeting, Hezbollah bloc stressed the importance of abiding by the constitution and the laws while approaching any of the national and socio-economic causes, highlighting the importance of the cooperation among the various institutions.

Stressing that Lebanon’s right to resist aggressions and protect its sovereignty, the bloc pointed out that any new sanctions draft laws made by the US Congress are schemes of aggression against Lebanon.

Loyalty to Resistance bloc also denounced the separation referendum held by Iraqi Kurdistan, expressing solidarity with the Iraqi people insist on their country’s unity.
