Yemen’s Al-Masira TV Channel broadcast a video showing two Saudi soldiers abducted by the Yemeni army and Popular committees.
Appearing to be sound, the two soldiers introduced themselves as Abdollah Ali Al-Shili and Thaar Motlaq Al-Otaybe and called on the Saudi authorities to conclude a swap agreement with the Yemeni forces to liberate all the captives.
The Yemeni army and popular committees managed on Saturday to repel a major attack launched by the Saudi army and its mercenaries on Al-Shurfa military post in Najran, inflicting heavy losses upon them and capturing a number of Saudi soldiers.
Yemen has been since March 2015 under a brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition. Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been injured and martyred in Saudi-led strikes, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
The coalition has been also imposing a blockade on the impoverished country’s ports and airports as a part of his aggression which is aimed at restoring power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
