Maariv Zionist newspaper said that the Israeli air strikes on Syria are part of the US policy to curb the Russian influence in that country, denying that such attacks would cause any harm to Hezbollah arsenal.

The paper added that when the Israeli warplanes strike Damascus airport, they serve the US interests and fail to inflict considerable losses on the weaponry supply of  Hezbollah “that can find numerous manners to transport weapons.

The Israeli army turned to be a group of mercenaries commanded by the US administration, according to Maariv which added that the Zionist air raids on Syria cannot change the formula in that country and may lead the usurping entity into a war that threatens its security.
