Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc said that any failure to approve a new electoral law before May 15 would increase the division among Lebanese and subject the country to a complicated crisis.
The bloc’s stance came Thursday in the context of its regular weekly meeting under the chairmanship of MP Mohammad Raad in Haret Hreik.
The bloc confirmed that it was still voicing adherence to an electoral law based on total proportionality since such a law represented the best Constitutional formulation.
Hezbollah bloc also called on the state services to cope with the spreading corruption phenomenon across the public institutions, adding that the each step in the plan devised to manage the power sector in Lebanon must be previously discussed in accordance with the governmental resolution.
The bloc condemned the terrorist blast which targeted Fuoa and Kefraya families in Aleppo, blaming the supporters of the militant groups for the heinous crime.
It further expressed full support to Iraq and Syria in facing the terrorist groups, condemning the recent US aggression on the Syrian province of Homs and considering that it threatens the regional and international security.
Loyalty to Resistance bloc wondered how the states which claim to be “civilized” stick to silence about the US-Saudi continuous war on Yemen and the atrocities committed by the Saudi-led aggression against the innocent civilians in that country.
Hezbollah bloc hailed the Palestinian Prisoners Intifada in face of the Zionist oppression, congratulating the dean of Palestinian women prisoners, Lina Al-Jarbouni, on her release.
Loyalty to Resistance bloc reminded of the Israeli massacre against the Lebanese civilians in the southern town of Qana in 1996 on its anniversary, adding that it denotes the Zionist criminal acts.
