The rocketry force in the Yemeni army and Popular Committees unveiled a new mid-range ballistic missile on Thursday.
In a statement, the force said it has unveiled home-made “Qaher-M2” after successfully testing it earlier.
The force said the test took place last week when it launched 3 of this missile on King Khaled air base in Khamis Mushait last week.
“Qaher-M2” is a developed missile of “Qaher 1”. It has 350-kg war head and a range of 400 kms, Al-Massirah Net reported.
Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.
Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive ex-president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
