Senior Hamas official in Lebanon Osama Hamdan told Al-Manar that the war will never end as the Israeli enemy envisions, stressing that the war will end in favor of the resistance.
In an interview with Al-Manar on Sunday, Hamdan said that the man who leads Al-Aqsa Flood battle is the man who leads the resistance group, referring to the selection of Yahya Sinwar as the overall leader of Hamas.
“It is rare for a Hamas leader to be chosen unanimously, as happened with brother Sinwar. This is a strong message that Hamas has become stronger and more resilient despite the severe blow it received with the assassination of its leader, Ismail Haniyeh.”
“It is natural that brother Abu Ibrahim (Yahya) Sinwar takes some time to complete some necessary arrangements within Hamas, and Allah willing, we will announce them upon completion.”
“The most significant characteristic of “Abu Ibrahim” is that he infuriates the enemy, and Hamas wanted to agree on a choice that would send clear messages,” Hamdan noted.
He pointed to the cohesion and coordination taking place between the powers of Axis of Resistance.
The cohesion “has pleased the supporters and disturbed the enemies as it has proven that we can all work together regardless of the distance between battlefields and geography,” Hamdan told Al-Manar.
On the ceasefire talks, the senior Hamas official stressed that the resistance group’s stance is clear.
“There is a document that we have already agreed on. We are waiting for the announcement of implementation mechanisms, including the cessation of aggression, withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces, aid delivery, and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.”
“The Israelis want to escape the obligation of a ceasefire. The Zionists have a flawed assessment that the resistance is weak. However, the battlefield confirms that the resistance is fighting today as fiercely as in the first days.”
