In light of the latest escalation in the Middle East over the Zionist assassination of Hezbollah military commander Sayyed Fuad Shokr in Beirut’s Dahiyeh and the late Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, the US media concentrated on the various aspects of the Middle East tensions.
The Washington Post indicated that the Zionist entity is expected to fight alone amid the rejection of a number of Arab states to get involved in its plots.
Mohammad Salami, a senior news editor at Al-Manar English Website, elaborated on this issue in an interview with Al-Manar TV.
The US paper also underlined that the Zionist defenses may get overwhelmed by Hezbollah’s and Iran’s drones and missiles, detailing the very costly interception operations.
It is worth noting that an Israeli airstrike targeted Beirut’s Dahiyeh on July 30 to assassinate Martyr Shokr and that Haniyeh was assassinated by the Zionist enemy in Tehran on August 31.
