Syrian army and allied forces established full control over a strategic hill northeast of Palmyra in Homs countryside.
Hezbollah’s Military Media Center told al-Manar on Wednesday that the allied forces took control of al-Mustadirah Hill northeast of Palmyra.
ISIL terrorists fled al-Mustadirah to neighboring areas after inflicting heavy losses, the source said, adding that the allied forces’ next target is a neighboring oil field near al-Mustadirah.
Earlier on Monday, the allied forces took control of al-Sawame’ in Palmyra’s east. The video below shows Syrian army soldiers along with allied forces in al-Sawame’ area.
