US activists set up a “settlement” in front of the Israeli embassy in Washington DC to protest the brutal war on Gaza and the oppression against Palestinians in the West Bank.
US media reported on Wednesday that activists lined the Israeli embassy with Palestinian flags and banners condemning Gaza genocide.

“Palestinian flags have clearly taken over the other flag that’s being flown here. The flag of hope has clearly taken over the flag of hate and apartheid. This is the apartheid embassy. And look. Look at all this. Just brilliant, as far as the eye can see,” Democracy Now quoted activist Miko Peled as saying.
This is the second “kibbutz” that pro-Palestine protesters set up in the Washington DC area.
Last January a group of activists started camping in front of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s home.
Moreover, on Thursday night, chaos erupted near the US Capitol as pro-Palestinian protesters blocked a street there during President Joe Biden’s state-of-the-union address.
Protesters called for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and a halt of US support for the Zionist entity. Demonstrators also blasted the US president, chanting: “Biden’s legacy is genocide.”
