The spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces General Yahya Sarea on Wednesday announced, in a statement, that the Yemeni navy targeted the US Ship “True Confidence” with appropriate missiles which left it on fire.

In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in response to the American-British aggression against our country, the Yemeni navy carried out the accurate attack, General Sarea said.

General Sarea indicated that the ship’s crew had rejected warning messages from the Yemeni naval forces before the attack.

“Yemeni Armed Forces renewed the warning notification to all ships to respond to calls from the Yemeni Naval Forces, calling on all the targeted ships’ crews to quickly evacuate the vessel after the first attack.”

“The Yemeni Armed Forces persist in upholding their religious, moral and humanitarian duties in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, and their operations in the Red and Arab Seas will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.”

Yemeni Armed Forces staged on Tuesday a new pro-Palestine strike, this time on two US destroyers in the Red Sea, with Washington’s CENTCOM confirming the attack later on Wednesday.
