Clashes broke out between Palestinian citizens and Israeli occupation forces last night in Anabta, a town located east of Tulkarm in the West Bank. Local sources have reported that the occupation soldiers fired bullets and poison tear gas bombs during the confrontation. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. It is worth noting that occupation patrols had stationed themselves along the main street of the town, leading to the Annab military checkpoint.
Simultaneously, the occupation forces launched a large-scale search operation in the streets and neighborhoods of Kafr Al-Labad, another town situated to the east of the governorate. This move by the Israeli forces has further intensified tensions in the region.
Meanwhile, the town of Idhna in Hebron was subjected to a raid by the Israeli occupation forces in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Local sources revealed that a significant number of occupation army personnel, with the support of military vehicles, stormed the town and conducted raids on the homes of the families of the recently martyred individuals. Ismail Ahmed Youssef Abu Jahisha (19 years old), Mahmoud Arafat Youssef Abu Jahisha (16 years old), and Uday Ismail Youssef Abu Jahisha (16 years old) lost their lives just three days ago near the “Adora” settlement in Hebron.
The raid also affected several neighborhoods, including Al-Dakhra, Al-Qarana area, and Abu Jahisha neighborhood, where the homes of Ibrahim Mutlaq Abu Jahisha were raided.
Moreover, the city of Ramallah became the latest target of the Israeli occupation forces. At dawn on Tuesday, the forces stormed the city and raided a residential house, this time in the “Batn al-Hawa” neighborhood. The occupation forces surrounded a building and imposed a siege on the entire neighborhood.
In a troubling development, the forces raided the home of Dr. Ayser Barghouthi, interrogating his family members and even measuring the house in preparation for its demolition. The occupation forces further exacerbated the situation by attacking citizens in the “Batn al-Hawa” neighborhood and conducting field investigations with residents who live in the besieged building and neighboring buildings.
It is important to note that Al-Barghouti was arrested on the 7th of this month under allegations of his participation, along with two others, in a shooting incident that occurred in the “Oyoun Al-Haramiyah” area, located north of Ramallah.
