The Yemeni Armed Forces issued on Tuesday a statement which announces striking the MSC UNITED Ship and Israeli military targets in the occupied Palestinian city of Eilat.
The statement stressed that, in support to the oppressed Palestinian people facing murder, destruction, siege and starvation, the Yemeni navy targeted the merchant ship, MSC UNITED, with appropriate anti-ship missiles.
According to the statement, the targeting of the ship occurred after its crew had rejected to respond to the calls of the Yemeni armed forces and the warning fire shots.
The statement added that Yemen’s unmanned air force carried out a military attack with a number of drones against Israeli military targets in the occupied Palestinian city of Um Al-Rashrash (Eilat).
The Yemeni Armed Forces, the statement affirms, will continue backing the Palestinian people in the context of performing the religious, moral, and humanitarian duty.
The statement also emphasized that the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue preventing the Israeli ships or those heading into the occupied Palestinian ports from crossing the Red Sea till Gaza obtains the sufficient amounts of medicines and foodstuffs.
Finally, the statement underlined the keenness of the Yemeni Armed Forces on the navigation safety, except for the ships affiliated with the Israeli enemy.
