House Speaker Nabih Berri indicated that his dialogue initiative is over, noting that he had exerted all the possible efforts without reaching any positive outcome.
Speaker Berri told Al-Joumhouriyah newspaper on Tuesday that he is no longer capable of launching initiatives, calling on those who rejected the dialogue to find the alternatives.
The House Speaker added that his initiative was a precious chance to surpass the crisis and elect a new president.
Speaker Berri warned that some parties may not be interested in electing the president in order to cope with the crisis plaguing the nation.
