Head of Syrian Doctors Syndicate, Dr. Ghassan Fandi, indicated on Wednesday that the doctors in Syrian rushed to rescue and treat those injured by the devastating earthquake before receiving the orders.
In an interview with Al-Manar TV, Fandi pointed out that the Doctors Syndicate has put itself at the disposal of the two ministries of health and education, adding that shouldering efforts can mitigate the effects of this tragedy.
Fandi noted that, before the takfiri war, Syria was one of the pioneer countries in the medical domain, adding that it used to export medicines to 65 countries.
Fandi also criticized the uncivilized bias of the West against Syria, hailing the brotherly countries which has helped Syria.
Finally, Fandi stressed that the Syrian doctors are ready to rescue the injured in the cities controlled by the terrorist groups if they open roads.
Rescuers in Turkey and Syria raced against time early on Wednesday to pull survivors from the rubble as the death toll of the devastating earthquakes neared 11,000.
