Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that the Resistance has fought the US-backed takfiri plot in the region as part of its fight against ‘Israel’, adding that the US administration has waged an economic war on Lebanon for the sake of the Zionist interests.
In an interview with BreakThrough News, conducted by Rania Khalek, Journalist and host of Dispatches, Sheikh Qassem indicated that the Americans may come up with a new surprising weapon after discovering the failure of the economic and takfiri wars.
Answering a question about the Saudi role in Lebanon, Sheikh Qassem pointed out that KSA is shocked because it plundered huge amounts of money with reaching any political gain.
His eminence commented on the new positions of the extremist government in the Zionist entity, stressing that all the Israelis are occupiers, and ‘Israel’ must fall.
Sheikh Qassem highlighted Hezbollah role in securing the Lebanese national rights pertaining the maritime border demarcation, adding that the indirect deal may never refer to the normalization of ties with ‘Israel’.
Domestically, Sheikh Qassem indicated that Hezbollah encourages the full implementation of Taif agreement and considers all the economic plans must be implemented by the state institutions.
Hezbollah Deputy Chief underscored that the latest developments indicate that the world political order is tending to become multi-polar, adding that the war in Ukraine comes in this context.
Sheikh Qassem also stressed that Hezbollah belief in the Wali al-Faqih, Imam Khamenei, is religious, adding that the Resistance and its goals as well as martyrs are Lebanese.
