Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc held on Thursday its weekly meeting chaired by its head Hajj Mohammad Raad to discuss the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.
In a statement issued in the aftermath, the bloc indicated that the third martyrdom anniversary of General Qassem Suleimani and Hajj Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis displays the humanitarian sublimity of the freedom defenders in contrast with the worst samples of wickedness represented by their murderers.
The US crime of killing the two martyrs in violation of all the international laws and norms necessitates the existence of a resistance power to confront this arrogance, according to the statement.
Loyalty to Resistance bloc reiterated commitment to the Resistance path followed by General Suleimani and Hajj Al-Muhandis, condemning the reluctance of some parties to confront the Us aggression.
In this regard, the bloc underscored the importance of securing all the means of defending Lebanon and its resources against the Israeli aggression schemes, underlining sustaining all economic, social and military capabilities in order to confront the enemy.
The statement called on all the Lebanese parties to agree on electing a new president without anticipating a foreign intervention, highlighting the role of the cooperation among the government institutions.
Loyalty to Resistance indicated that the government institutions must facilitate the foreign investments which started to return to Lebanon, adding that the Lebanese people are eager to witness initiatives which cope with the stagnation crisis.
