Head of Yemen national negotiating delegation, Mohammad Abdelsalam, met on Wednesday with Ali Akbar Velayati, Advisor to the Leader of the Iranian Revolution for International Affairs.
In the meeting, Abdelsalam hailed the Islamic Republic of Iran for its supportive stances and aspirations for the Yemeni people, Ansarullah’s website reported.
The Yemeni official stressed that Sanaa’s position has been based on fighting arrogance led by the US and the Zionist entity, and refusing to normalize relations with the occupation regime in Palestine.
Velayati, for his part, voiced confidence that Yemen will triumph and foil conspiracy of the enemies, pointing to the depth of relations between the two countries.
He indicated that Yemeni people, despite all the difficulties, are vigilant and have been able to present the true essence of fighting arrogance.
