The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry dismissed recent threatening comments from the Israeli regime prime minister, reminding the Zionist regime that any hostile action will draw Iran’s crushing response.
Reacting to the Israeli premier’s recent threats against Iran, Nasser Kanaani said at a press conference on Wednesday that the bitter irony is that the Zionist regime, which is neither a signatory to any non-proliferation treaty nor subject to international monitoring activities, has a dark record of violation of rights of nations and occupation, and has amassed a stockpile of nuclear weapons, is commenting on Iran’s peaceful activities.
“All of Iran’s activities are under the (International Atomic Energy) Agency’s surveillance. The Zionist regime has no right to make comments on Iran’s peaceful nuclear activity,” he added.
Denouncing the Israeli regime’s law-breaking conducts as a result of the US’ support, Kanaani warned that Iran will respond to any hostile action by the Zionist regime decisively and in a way that Tel Aviv will regret it.
In a meeting with Austrian chancellor on Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid called for “international awareness” against the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and concerns over what he called the continuation of the Iranian nuclear program.
