Head of Hezbollah Executive Council Sayyed Hashem Safieddine indicated that the political debate in Lebanon must tackle the destiny of the nation in light of the conflicts, resources and alliance present in the region, citing major changes that are expected to alter the entire scene of the Middle East.
Addressing the memorial ceremony mourning Sayyed Jaafar Safieddine (Uncle of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah) in Southern Lebanon, Sayyed Safieddine stressed that the Resistance is capable of identifying Lebanon’s destiny away from the American will.
Sayyed Safieddine pointed out that if the Lebanese rely on the US mediator, they will not obtain their rights pertaining the maritime gas resources and Lebanon will not turn to be an economic paradise.
The Americans are concerned only with protecting the Israeli interests in light of the entity’s plans to export gas into Europe, according to Sayyed Safieddine.
Sayyed Safieddine emphasized that the Resistance will confront all the challenges despite all the circumstances, calling for a speedy creation of the new government which is expected to cope with the socioeconomic crisis in Lebanon.
