The Supreme Council of the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union on Friday elected Al-Manar TV Director General Hajj Ibrahim Farhat as teh Union’s Secretary General.

The election occurred during a session held in Beirut and attended by the Union members who discussed the recommendations and policies of the Union.

The Union’s Secretary General is scheduled to held a press conference on Saturday in order to conclude the IRTVU’s session and announce its new decisions.
