Hezbollah Media Relations Department issued on Thursday a statement which indicated that Al-Arabiya News Channel, affiliated with the Saudi regime, kept promoting lies and throwing fabricated accusations at Hezbollah regarding illegal drugs manufacturing and trafficking in order to insult the Party and distort the image of the Resistance movements in the region in favor of the Israeli enemy and the normalization deals.
The statement added that Al-Arabiya is diverting attention from the involvement of senior Saudi officials and royals in trafficking drugs as well as Captagon pills, recalling arresting one of the Saudi princes at Beirut International Airport.
Hezbollah Media Relations Department stressed that Al-Arabiya attempts to divert attention from the drugs scourge in the Saudi society by throwing accusations at others will not solve the growing problem in the kingdom.
It was more appropriate for Al-Arabiya and the senior Saudi officials to work seriously to combat this lethal scourge via practical, media, educational and religious means in order to reduce its imminent security and social dangers, the statement concluded.
