Command of “Nineveh, We’re Coming” operations announced Monday that “Palestine neighborhood” in Mosul has been liberated in full.
“The federal police forces managed to liberate in full the Palestine neighborhood on the left coast of Mosul, and raised the national flag over its premises,” operations commander Lt. Gen. Abdul-Amir Rashid Yarallah said in a statement.
Yarallah added that liberalization of the neighborhood was achieved after inflicting the enemy heavy losses.
Joint security forces continue for the twelfth week their military operations to restore the Mosul city from the grip of the so-called ‘Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’ (ISIL) terrorist group, and managed so far to liberate many areas, some of them enjoy strategic locations.
