Iran’s Government Spokesman Ali Bahadori Jahromi elaborated on Iran’s position against Al-Aqsa Mosque incidents, saying that normalization of relations between some Arab Islamic countries has strengthened Zionist repression.
Addressing his press conference on Tuesday, Bahadori Jahromi referred to Foreign Ministry’s contacts with Hamas and consultations with foreign ministers of some Islamic states.
He also pointed to a letter from Iran to the secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) with regard to condemning the Zionist regime’s acts.
Meanwhile, earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that Muslims must stand united behind the Palestinian cause.
In the wake of the escalation of tension and aggression by the Zionist regime, dozens of Palestinians have been martyred and hundreds injured since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Bahadori Jahromi referred to a lawsuit between Iranian gas company and a French company, saying the French company claimed $27m and the Iranian company’s claim was $13m.
He added the court finally voted in favor of Iran and $1.5m will be paid to Iran.
