The Palestinian ex-prisoner Ahmad Younes Al-Atrash was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces Friday during clashes in downtown Al-Khalil, south of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Al-Atrash, 29, was killed after being shot by Israeli occupation soldiers at Shalala Street in the center of Al-Khalil city.
He was taking part in a weekly protest against Israeli colonization when he was shot and critically injured by Israeli occupation Al-Khalill soldiers. Al-Atrash was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, where he succumbed to his wounds.
More than 130 other Palestinian protesters also suffered injury and suffocation from teargas inhalation.
