Yemen’s Ansarullah leader Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi stressed that the only way to stop Yemeni attacks is to end the aggression and siege on the country and warned the aggression forces that they will regret it if they miss the opportunity to end the conflict.
“The eighth year of the aggression against Yemen began with Operation “Breach of Siege 3″, which echoed throughout the entire world,” Sayyed Al-Houthi said.
Sayyed Al-Houthi added that Yemen will spare no efforts to confront the aggression and the siege against the country and it will never accept the continuation of the blockade anymore.
President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council of Yemen Mahdi al-Mashat Saturday announced a three-day cessation of attacks after a wave of drone and missile attacks against Saudi Arabia.
Al-Mashat noted Yemen is waiting for a positive response to the move and calls on the Saudi and UAE-led military aggression coalition to stop all the actions that hinder peace.
The statement came a day after a wave of drone and missile attacks hit targets across Saudi Arabia, including an oil plant near the Formula One race in Jeddah, triggering an inferno.
Yemen has been since March 25, 2015 under aggression by the Saudi-led coalition in a bid to restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who is Riyadh’s ally. Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been killed or injured by Saudi-led airstrikes.
The Arab country has been also under harsh blockade b the coalition which includes in addition to the Kingdom, the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco and Sudan.
