The Yemeni Armed Forces will carry out a major offensive to break the Saudi-led siege on Yemen, describing the blockade as a military aggression.
In a briefing that recapitulates the outcomes of the seven years of confrontation with the Saudi-led aggression forces and their mercenaries.
More than 13 thousand military operations were carried out over the seven years, according to the briefing which added that the Yemeni attacks claimed more than 1000 Saudi soldiers, 1200 UAE soldiers, and around 253 thousand mercenaries.
The briefing indicated that the eighth year of the confrontation will witness the quality operation which will lead to the liberation of more territories occupied by the aggression forces.
Yemen has been since March 25, 2015 under aggression by the Saudi-led coalition in a bid to restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who is Riyadh’s ally. Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been killed or injured by Saudi-led airstrikes.
The Arab country has been also under harsh blockade b the coalition which includes in addition to the Kingdom, the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco and Sudan.
